AM Electrics offer a wide range of electrical services to the rail sector, including electrical installations, inspection and testing as well as maintenance and reactive repairs.
We are fully compliant with the rail industries qualification scheme, RISQS, and are recognised as a competent supplier to the industry. We undertake a range of services to meet our clients needs. We work within depots and stations and have the capabilities and competence to work trackside where this is required.
Our work within the industry has ranged from electrical upgrades of depot sites and stations to acting as a primary contractor on lifting equipment installations.

- RISQS is the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme. In order to demonstrate that we are safe, competent and quality service providers, we are audited by this scheme on an annual basis.
- Having passed our last audit, AM Electrics are formally recognised as capable providers of products and services.
Sentinel Scheme
- Sentinel is one of the premier safety systems in use across the Rail Industry. All rail workers are provided with a passport to work on the rail infrastructure across the United Kingdom.
- All of our employees who work on the rail infrastructure are part of the Sentinel Scheme. This means that they can demonstrate they have the necessary competencies to work in area where health and safety is paramount.
